June 2016 marked the 100th anniversary of the departure of the Island’s 105th Battalion for WWI overseas service. In honour of the men of C Company of the 105th, who trained in Summerside, Culture Summerside took on a number of projects based around the war and the men of the C Company. These projects included audio vignettes, interpretive panels, and the ongoing research into the men of the 105th Battalion.
