During our National Flag of Canada Day celebrations at Greenfield Elementary School in February, there was a poster contest on the theme “What Canada Means to Me”. The overall winner was Emily LaPointe, and she won for her entire Grade 4 class an art lesson with acclaimed Island artist Maurice Bernard!

 

Maurice visited the Grade 4 class yesterday and worked with the students to make these beautiful paintings. The students really enjoyed their time being creative and delving into art.
